We are a team of software and accounting professionals with over ten years’ experience of working with accounting data.
Ledgerscope has created unique, platform-agnostic technology for the extraction, transformation, normalisation and transfer of accounting data. We are all about data automation, and have a strong track record in delivering practical solutions for fintech businesses.
Ledgerscope also offers other services including Movemybooks and Backupmybooks.
We are a financially secure business, being profitable, cashflow positive and debt-free.
With no investment managers to answer to, we can focus on our products and our service and develop the software we want to develop.
Our journey to Ledgerflow
Over the past ten years our technology has been used primarily to power a data migration service for business owners who wish to move to new cloud accounting platform from legacy desktop software or from another cloud platform.
During this time we have been the preferred data conversion partner for Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Exact in the UK and have helped over 100,000 businesses move their data between accounting platforms.
We also created a unique backup and restore service for Xero.
We have detailed working knowledge of the Xero API, most likely use a wider range of its entities than anyone else and have provided the code for a large proportion of the Xero .NET wrapper.
So we understand accounting data, how to intelligently transform it and how to repackage it in different forms.
